10 Questions To Attract Investor Attention

Investors or brokers receive so many proposals that they have to decide quickly whether or not to give a serious look at your investment opportunity.  You have to attract their attention right up front, making it easy for them to have a clear understanding of the deal.

They will ask themselves key questions.  You will be more effective if you clearly answer these 10 questions up front:

1.          What is the business opportunity, concept and strategy?

2.          What is the market?

3.          What is the business model?

4.          What is the technology?

5.          Who are the competitors?

6.          What will it take to accomplish these plans?

7.          Why this company?

8.          What are the risks, and how do they plan to mitigate them?

9.          Who is the management team—can these people pull it off?

10.     What and when, the results?

The backdrop to all of this is the question, “Why now?”  Why should I spend the time on this proposal now?  What is the window of opportunity for this company—why must they move forward now to develop their business?
